The author invites viewers to assemble a panel house by solving a children's Tetris puzzle.
During the period from the 1960s to the 1980s, the majority of panel buildings were constructed. Soviet architects had a standardized set of elements from which they "assembled" these buildings: wall panels, windows of certain sizes, stairs, ceilings, and even decorative concrete panels such as balcony railings and porches. Architects were not only limited by technical requirements but also constrained in their choice of architectural appearance for the buildings. They had to address challenges similar to those presented in the installation. As a result, buildings were constructed using the same elements arranged in different combinations. In this installation, the author invites viewers to assemble such a house themselves by solving a children's Tetris puzzle.
60-80 гг. - время, в которое была возведена большая часть панельных застроек. У советских архитекторов был набор элементов, из которых и "собирались" дома: стеновые панели и окна определённых размеров, лестницы, перекрытия, даже декоративные бетонные панели (ограждение балконов, входы в подъезды). Архитекторы были ограничены не только техническими требованиями, но и выбором архитектурного облика здания. Проектируя, архитектору приходилось решать задачу подобную той, что представлена в инсталляции. Таким образом, создавались здания сложенные из одинаковых элементов, но в разных комбинациях. В этой инсталляции автор предлагает зрителям собрать такой дом самим, сложив детскую головоломку "тетрис".
